Dr. Monica Mitri received her Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto and continued her studies at the University of Waterloo graduating with honours in Doctor of Optometry.
She has been actively involved in community service, such as the Special Olympics Opening Eyes to provide eye exam screening for participating athletes. She has special interest in contact lenses, in addition to providing full comprehensive eye exams to meet the unique needs of patients.
Dr. Monica Mitri is dedicated to serving you and your family and looks forward to caring for your vision and eye health needs. When she is not taking her care of your eye health she enjoys spending her time hiking with her dog, and taking in the scenes with photography.

Dr. Steve Iskander studied Biochemistry in the co-op program at the University of Toronto and received his Bachelor of Science degree. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science.
Dr. Iskander completed his external rotations in Newmarket, working with local Ophthalmologists and Optometrists and learning extensive ocular disease management, including pre and post-surgical exams. He also developed skills in specialty contact lens fitting, pediatric eye exams, low vision devices and aids, laser vision correction management, as well as examining those with disabilities.
He is a believer in giving back to the community. He goes on medical mission trips providing eye care to impoverished areas that lack access to eye doctors; he went to Bolivia in 2018 and to Haiti in 2019. He enjoys spending time with friends, soccer, muay thai and archery.

Dr. Brian Yeung is a homegrown graduate of Ryerson University, and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
He has completed numerous internships in multiple optometry and ophthalmology settings in the United States, including The Villages Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Florida, the Talley Eye Institute in Indiana, and private practice experience in Idaho.
Dr. Yeung has valuable experiences in treating and managing ocular diseases, an area which he believes is becoming a larger focus for optometrists in the betterment of ocular health awareness. He also prides himself in bringing a positive culture to the profession and always strives to make the patient experience his top priority, leading to two 2019 Readers’ Choice Awards nominations for top optometrist in the Peterborough & Kawartha Lakes regions.
During his education at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Yeung notably served as the President of the school’s Fellowship of Christian Optometrists group, a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association and earned the distinguished title of Student Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Through the school, he was also able to participate in multiple medical optometry mission trips to Guatemala and Honduras.
As a sports fanatic, he loves playing softball and other sports in his spare time. He enjoys spending time with family & friends catching movies & TV shows, is a classically trained pianist and sketches as a hobby.
